Abstract

SGPT, SGOT and Potassium ion etc. were measured from rats who were injected with 0.2mL of 25% ethanol or 25% methanol and 0.05mL of 99.5% toluene every other day during 30 days. In rats group were injected with toluene, the SGPT was shown 4~5 times as much as that of control group. However, in the methanol group, the SGPT was shown 2~5 times as much as that of control group. On the other hand, in the ethanol group, the SGPT was increased to about twice of control group.
