Introduction
Sixteen check list of compliance of the journal to the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing published September 15, 2022 (joint statement by Committee on Publication Ethics [COPE], Directory of Open Access Journals [DOAJ], the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association [OASPA], and the World Association of Medical Editors [WAME]; https://doaj.org/apply/transparency) was as follows:
1. Name of journal
The official journal title is Journal of Daesoon Thought and the Religions of East Asia. Abbreviated title is JDTREA.
2. Website
The Journal of Daesoon Thought and the Religions of East Asia (JDTREA) managing team endeavors to make a good website. JDTREA website demonstrates that care has been taken to ensure high ethical and professional standards. It does not contain any misleading information, including any attempt to mimic another journal/publisher's site.
3. Journal Schedule
Journal of Daesoon Thought and the Religions of East Asia is published two times a year (on the 30th day of MArch and September).
4. Archiving
It is accessible without barrier from Korea Citation Index (https://kci.go.kr) or National Library of Korea (http://nl.go.kr) in the event a journal is no longer published.

Science Editing is an open access journal. A free full-text service, both in XML and PDF formats, is available immediately upon publication without an embargo period.

This journal is owned by the publisher, the Korean Council of Science Editors (https://www.kcse.org/). The journal is managed by the Management Team.

Neither page charge, article processing fee nor submission fee will be applied. Science Editing is a platinum open access journal, meaning there are no fees on the author side.
14. Other Revenue
Revenue sources of journal were from the support of publisher (the Korean Council of Science Editors), Korea Government's support, and advertising rates.
15. Advertising
Science Editing accepts advertisements. The policy of advertising is displayed on the About (Advertising Policy) tab of the journal website.
16. Direct Marketing
Journal propagation has been done through the journal web site and distribution of an introduction pamphlet. Invitations to submit a manuscript are usually focused on the presenters at conferences, seminars, or workshops if the topic is related to the journal's aims and scope.

1. Website
Aims & Scope:
The Journal of Daesoon Thought and the Religions of East Asia (JDTREA) is the official English language journal of the Daesoon Academy of Sciences, and thus far, it is the only peer-reviewed, English language journal exclusively dedicated to research on Daesoon Thought and the contemporary relevance of East Asia Religions. The scope includes interpretation and analysis of Daesoon Jinrihoe's religious phenomena, comparative research, critical reviews of academic trends, and new interpretations of Daesoon Thought.
The types of publications featured in JDTREA include original articles, research notes, and book reviews.
2. Name of the Journal
The abbreviated title is JDTREA.
3. Peer Review Process
It is described at the Instructions to authors. We adopts double-blind peer review.
4. Ownership and Management
This journal is owned by its publisher, Daesoon Academy of Sciences (www.daos.or.kr/en/). The management team includes Journal Manager, Ethics Editor, Managing Editor, Copy Editor, and Administrative Managers from various institutions.
5. Governing Body
The governing body is the journal's editorial board. Editor-in-chief is renewed every 3 years, renewable. Review Editor, Associate Editor, and Editorial boards are renewed every 3 years, renewable.

9. Process for Identification and Dealing with Research Misconduct
When facing suspected cases of research and publication misconduct, the resolution process will follow the flowchart provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics. The discussion and decision on the suspected cases are carried out by the Editorial Board.
10. Publication Ethics
Comprehensive publication ethics policies covering authorship, contributorship, complaints and appeals process, conflicts of interest, data sharing, ethical oversight, intellectual property, and post-publication discussions and corrections.
11. Publishing Schedule
The journal is set to be published biannually March 30, September 30. Supplemental issues may also be published.
