JNAH is published semiannually, in June and December. Submissions are available at all times; however, to be considered for publication in the June issues, your manuscript must be submitted by February 28, and for the December issues, by August 31. All eligible manuscripts submitted to JNAH undergo a peer review process conducted by three experts in the relevant fields, as recommended by the editorial board members. Please note that even if a manuscript is approved by reviewers, there may be an additional 6 6-month delay in publication due to the backlog of previously accepted manuscripts. The publication costs for JNAH are covered by the Northeast Asian History Foundation. Authors do not need to pay any article–processing charge.
