This study investigated the interpersonal relationship patterns between overt and covert narcissism by making a structural analysis of social behavior(SASB) from diverse angles. Four hundred nine-seven undergraduate students participated in this study. According to the results, first, in terms of introjection, the overt narcissists had a tendency to be torn between self-love, self-protection, and self-aggression, whereas the covert narcissists tended to be torn between self-love and self-ignorance. Second, the overt narcissists perceived that they often blamed others, and that others blamed them often as well. However, the covert narcissists found themselves to be torn between aggression toward others and laissez-faire, perceiving that others were also torn between aggression and laissez- faire. Third, with respect to oneself, the overt narcissists perceived that others were mainly torn between obedience, trust and relationship withdrawal, and found themselves to be torn between obedience and separation. In contrast, the covert narcissists scarcely knew how others responded to them, and found themselves to be torn between obedience resulting from anger and relationship withdrawal.
