공공도서관 어린이사서를 위한 문헌정보학 교과과정 개선에 관한 연구

초록

본 연구는 공공도서관 어린이사서 양성을 위한 문헌정보학 교과과정의 개선 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 어린이사서 양성과 관련된 국내 문헌정보학과 교과과정의 현황을 조사하였다. 또한 어린이사서 대상 설문조사를 통해 사서들의 교육 경험과 향후 문헌정보학 교과과정에 필요한 관련 교과목 및 교과내용에 대한 현장의 요구를 파악하였다. 그 결과를 토대로 어린이사서를 위한 교과목의 개설 방향을 제시한 후, 구체적인 교과과정 모형 안을 제안하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve an undergraduate curricular of library and information science for children's librarians in public libraries. For the purpose, this study examined current curricular provided for children's librarianship. A questionnaire survey of the educational background of children's librarian was also conducted. Based on the results, this study proposed an undergraduate curriculum model to raise children's librarians.
