Journal Operation
- All submitted papers should encompass research in all fields mentioned in the journal's introduction.
- We welcome submissions that utilize various methodologies within the scope and aims of our project.
- JBAS aims to publish innovative papers that can serve the modern global society by pioneering new research fields and using ancient languages to facilitate dialogue between the East and West through the study of the Bible and ancient literature.
- JBAS is published with the support of the Johannine Literature Study of Korea (JLSK), but membership in the society does not affect the review of submitted papers.
- Peer review is conducted by the editorial board, which consists of the editor-in-chief and approximately more than fourteen members, and the term of the editor-in-chief and each member is 2 years.
- Types of submitted manuscripts: Articles, forewords of special issues such as the inaugural issue, and papers presented at the regular presentations and special academic conferences of the Johannine Literature Study of Korea (JLSK) will be published in this journal according to the submission and ethical guidelines of the journal.
- Sponsorship: We receive funding from the planned research fund of the Johannine Literature Studies of Korea (JLSK), funds raised by the editorial committee, and contributions from individuals and organizations interested in the 'Journal of Biblical and Ancient Studies (JBAS),' as determined by the editorial board.
