The Journal of Biblical and Ancient Studies is dedicated to sharing the truth of the Trinitarian God, serving others through scholarship, and cultivating a community of knowledge. In this spirit, we adhere to the principles of Diamond Open Access.

1. Sharing Knowledge in the Spirit of the Gospel

We freely provide access to all research on biblical and ancient texts, believing that the dissemination of truth is a sacred calling. All articles are available without subscription fees, and authors are not charged article processing fees (APCs). As a token of appreciation for your contribution to the paper, we offer a modest honorarium with symbolic significance

2. Stewardship of the intellectual resources entrusted by the Creator

The copyright of published articles belongs to the Johannine Literature Studies of Korea (JLSK), the publisher of the Journal of Biblical and Ancient Studies (JBAS). However, the articles are freely available for reproduction, distribution, and citation under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). This reflects our commitment to pursuing the common good through scholarship, as stewards of the knowledge entrusted to us by the Creator.

3. Technical infrastructure for service

All articles are openly accessible through the AccessON platform (https://accesson.kr/jbas/), enabling search, download, and sharing. Technical infrastructure is designed to serve the scholarly community and support automated indexing and data reuse.
