초록

이 연구는 농어촌지역의 독서실태와 독서실태가 지방 행정 주도의 도서관 독서문화 환경 정책 인식에 미치는 영향 분석을 통해 농어촌지역의 독서문화 형성을 위한 선순환구조의 기초 자료를 마련하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 A농어촌지역 성인 및 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 성인 97명, 학생 113명의 응답을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 적극적인 독자와 무관심한 비독자가 양극화 현상을 보였다. 또한 독서활동은 독서의 자기만족을 높이는 것과 관련이 있었다. 본 연구의 시사점은 첫째, 비독자 유입을 위해서는 도서관 이용 및 접근을 확대하는 것이 중요하다. 둘째, 비독자 유입 이후 독서문화를 지속적으로 활성화하기 위해서는 독서활동을 적극적으로 추진해야 한다.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to provide foundational data for establishing a structure to foster local reading culture. The research goals are as follows: the factors of local reading behavior; the influence of the status of local reading on the perception of local administration-lead reading environment policies. The responses of 97 adults and 113 students from A rural to about questions about reading behavior and the their perceptions of reading environment policies were analyzed. The results of research are as follows: polarization between active readers and an indifferent non-readers; reading activities related with self-satisfaction improvement of reading. Therefore the proposes of the study are as follows. First, it is important to encourage the use of libraries to convert non-readers into readers. Second, it is important to encourage reading activities to continuously vitalize reading culture.
