Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the utilization of university libraries Web OPACs. As a sample group, 51 university libraries are selected and classified to 9 common types. The nine types of Web OPACs are analyzed； operational characteristics, access points, search types, output formats and help functions. The results of this study can be used towards the interface designs of Web OPACS.
