초록

고전 텍스트 정본 사업이 학문적 조사의 토대이지만, 여러 이본 중에 어느 본이 원본인지에 대한 기초 조사와 역사비평본 간행이 한국학계에 아직 부족한 상태이다. 고전 텍스트 정본 사업은 한국학 발전과 세계화를 위해, 중국학(sinology)과 일본학(japanology)과 같은 높은 학문적 수준에 이르기 위하여, 일반 국민들의 역사의식을 정확히 발전시키기 위하여, 또 국가 브랜딩(nation branding)에 중요한 사업이다.

Abstract

Up to now there is not enough research on collation and the publication of historical-critical editions of Korean classical literature in Korean Studies. Intensifying efforts in this area is necessary for the advancement of Korean Studies, in order to reach the academic level of Sinology and Japanology, in order to strengthen a well-grounded understanding of Korean history by the general public, and for nation branding.
