Abstract

As a preliminary study for the basic plan for the construction of the Buyeo Public Library, this study conducted a survey on Buyeo-gun residents’ perception of the operation of Buyeo Public Library facilities and spaces, books, services and programs, and library characteristics. As a result, it was found that the survey subjects recognized the overall natural atmosphere of Buyeo Public Library facilities and spaces, and the convenience of using comfortable and pleasant data reading spaces and data. In addition, it was found that the preferred type of information source as the direction of book operation was print data, and the subject aspect was the highest preference for the literary field, and it was found that they wished to provide book and knowledge information in various fields.
