Aims and Scope

The Journal of Wellbeing Management and Applied Psychology (JWMAP) is an international, peer-reviewed scholarly journal owned, managed, and published by KODISA Foundation. JWMAP was first published in 2018 and has continued to develop as an interdisciplinary academic journal that promotes research on wellbeing management, applied psychology, health and welfare, public health, nursing, healthcare management, social services, education, environmental health, organizational behavior, consumer behavior, service management, safety management, digital health, AI-based wellness services, and related interdisciplinary fields.

JWMAP aims to publish high-quality theoretical, empirical, applied, and policy-oriented research that contributes to the improvement of individual, organizational, community, environmental, and social wellbeing. The journal welcomes manuscripts from researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and scholars worldwide whose work demonstrates academic originality, methodological rigor, practical implications, and social value.

Based on recent publication trends, JWMAP particularly encourages interdisciplinary research addressing contemporary wellbeing-related issues. Recent studies published in the journal have examined topics such as health and welfare systems, public health, healthcare management, nursing and care services, environmental health, odor and safety management, rehabilitation and community health, consumer behavior, service management, organizational behavior, education, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, AI-based wellness services, and quality of life.

Scope of the Journal

JWMAP publishes original scholarly research in the fields of wellbeing management, applied psychology, health and welfare, public health, nursing, healthcare management, social services, environmental health, education, organizational behavior, consumer behavior, service management, digital health, safety management, and interdisciplinary studies related to quality of life and social wellbeing.

The scope of JWMAP includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Wellbeing management and quality of life

  • Applied psychology and behavioral studies

  • Health, welfare, public health, and healthcare management

  • Nursing, care services, rehabilitation, and social services

  • Environmental health, odor management, community safety, and public wellbeing

  • Education, lifelong learning, and human development

  • Organizational behavior, consumer behavior, and service management

  • Digital health, AI-based wellness services, and technology-enabled wellbeing

  • Safety management, human factors, and risk prevention

  • Community wellbeing, social policy, and welfare systems

  • Interdisciplinary research related to wellbeing, society, health, welfare, environment, management, and applied human sciences

JWMAP especially encourages studies that address important academic, practical, social, environmental, and policy issues. Submitted manuscripts should contribute to the advancement of wellbeing-related research and provide theoretical, empirical, practical, or policy implications. All submitted manuscripts must fit the aims and scope of the journal and comply with the journal’s research and publication ethics policies.

Publication Frequency

JWMAP is published six times a year. Issues are released on February 28, April 30, June 30, August 30, October 30, and December 30.

Historical issue lists are provided according to the actual publication record of each year.
