This study examined the dual mediating effects of state anger and reactive aggression in the association be tween gender inequality perceptions and depressive symptoms among adults aged 19 to 39. An online self -report survey was administered to 471 adults aged 19 to 39 (238 men and 233 women), and the resulti ng data were analyzed. Analytic procedures consisted of descriptive statistics, correlation analyses, confirmat ory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. The findings demonstrated that gender inequality per ceptions exerted a direct effect on depressive symptoms. State anger and reactive aggression each accounted for a partial mediating role, and together they formed a sequential dual mediation pathway. These results indicate that gender inequality perceptions, state anger, and reactive aggression represent salient psychologic al risk factors for depressive symptoms in adults in their 20s and 30s.
